Electromagnetism or electromagnetic force is one of the four fundamental forces of nature. It generates energy and light and holds matter, atoms and the world we know and the world as we know it together. Electromagnetism is a branch of physics, that studies interactions between electric and magnetic fields. All matter has an electric charge it can be negative and positive or neutral. Opposite charges attract and while like charges repel. These electric forces bring and hold atoms together.
